RM Honeycomb is a creative, safe, web 2.0 workspace designed specifically for education.
Honeycomb's integrated set of online tools enable students to create blogs, wikis, and web pages that can be shared with classmates, parents, or other Honeycomb users.
Honeycomb is a private network with no public access, providing a secure learning environment in which students and teachers can safely and easily communicate and collaborate. It provides a variety of flexible online tools to create and publish a range of document types, including web pages, wikis, and blogs.
Honeycomb encourages learners' creativity and has been designed specifically for use in education, making it intuitive and easy to use for both students and teachers. Students can either work by themselves or collaboratively at school, at home, or anywhere they have Internet access. This anytime, anywhere learning addresses the learning style of many of today's digital natives.
Increases Student Engagement
Honeycomb provides a media-rich toolset that gives students the ability to add text, images, videos and a range of other widgets including online voting, slideshows, and graphs. Once approved by the teacher, students can publish either to the class, the school, or the world. This can help to continually motivate students to think about, and improve, the standard of their presentation, as well as encourage a community of users.
