What are some of the benefits of using Podium?

As well as allowing students to display and extend their creativity using audio as a means of expressing themselves, teachers are able to use Podium to regularly communicate with parents through posting school updates on the website.  They can also publish lesson guides to help students who may have missed sessions through absence or who simply need reinforcement when completing homework assignments.

To download RM Podcasts:

Step 1: Obtain a player
If you do not have one already you will need to download software that will allow you to subscribe to a podcast.
Currently iTunes and Juice are the most popular freely available players.

Step 2: Subscribe to a podcast
Subscribing to an RM podcast is easy. Simply copy the full podcast address (everything from "http://" to ".xml") and go to your chosen podcast player. In iTunes go to "Subscribe to podcast" in the "Advanced" menu. A text box will open - paste the podcast address and you will now be subscribed!

Step 3: Listen!
Your player will now download the podcast and you can listen at your leisure, either on your computer or on an MP3 player if you wish. If the podcast is part of a series your player will automatically download any new episodes so you need never miss an RM podcast!
Should you decide that you no longer wish to receive a podcast from RM you can delete the podcast from your listed subscriptions and you will not receive any future episodes.
