Harriet Pleasance

"I've been working for RM Education for a year and a half and since I've joined I've worked as a Services Consultant where I've been designing bids. Now I'm also a team leader overseeing a team of 14 who are responsible for 24 primary and secondary schools across Lambeth, so I liaise with the customer and make sure that they're happy at all times.

The most exciting project is probably going to be in September this year. We've got a whole group of schools based in Southwark that are coming online, that I'll be helping with. So it's making sure that they're set up correctly and that the customer is also happy. The biggest benefit for me would be the fact that I've managed to have such a wide range of opportunities available to me.

I started a year and a half ago, and within the first year I was part of the bid team and designed managed services. Within a year after that I was then leading a team and I think that opportunity would only have been available within a medium sized company.

My career highlights? I've had a few over the last 18 months. I'd say the first one would be winning the graduate project - a team of 8 of us worked together and we presented in front of the Directors. The CEO of RM Education, selected us which was really nice and then we even had lunch with him that was really good.

I'd say the other career highlight would be getting my promotion to working as the team leader currently, I'd say that was something I'm really proud of."
