"Since I joined RM Education I've had the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of projects, including my role as a project manager. One of the most fun projects that I worked on was getting a helium airship into the office to advertise a new local support tool that we'd promote to the teams.

Probably one of the most exciting projects that I've been involved with from a personal level, was when I'd been at the company for about 18 months in the role of a personal manager, I got to take part in a project with the CEO, the HR Director and the Director of Finance to review the pensions program. It was a great opportunity to see what happens behind the scenes and work with the people in charge of the company.

Last summer I put in a request to take some time off to take part in a row around Great Britain. It was the first ever female team to row around unaided and RM Education were great, and supported me and gave me the time to do that, on the understanding that I'd come back and talk to my colleagues about what I did.

It's very much tied in with RM Education's belief that you can do whatever you put your mind to. You're not limited by the box that you're in so I think the impact that I've had to be able to show that as an office worker and someone who doesn't generally do a lot of exercise, to be able to spend two months on a rowing boat and rowing round the country successfully. If I can do that then as a company we can do anything."
