Architecturally one of the most radical new buildings in Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury College is a focal point for the Aylesbury Vale community, serving a huge range of post-16 vocational courses and training, as well as GCSEs and A'Levels. It now provides for 1,000 full-time and 4,500 part-time students.
This £30 million new build project completed its first phase in September 2006 and the second phase is due to open soon.
See the video below to hear how the senior management team turned their vision for the new college into reality. The video case study covers:
"The primary reason we opted for an outsourced solution was that we wanted to focus on the teaching and learning... we wanted the advantage of a professional service providing all our networking and infrastructure."
Pauline Odulinski, Principal
"It's one of the best things the college has done, to go with a managed service."
Barbara Miller, Learning Centre Manager
